Loan Terms and Conditions

When you apply for a loan through this website, you agree to the following conditions:

  • You will notify Montry Trust Bank of any financial or personal change that may prevent you from making agreed repayments. Any request to renegotiate repayment terms must be discussed with an authorised loan officer.
  • You will notify Montry Trust Bank of any change of name, address, or next of kin. Where additional tracing or recovery costs arise because current information was not provided, those costs may be charged to you where permitted.
  • Where lawful data-sharing arrangements exist with a registered social landlord or another relevant organisation, pertinent information may be shared for account administration, verification, or debt-management purposes.
  • If you miss more than two consecutive repayments without consultation or permission, Montry Trust Bank may take recovery action in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.
  • In the event of persistent non-payment, Montry Trust Bank may apply available funds held in eligible accounts towards the outstanding loan balance, where the law and account agreement permit.
  • Reasonable costs incurred in pursuing overdue amounts may be added to the outstanding balance where legally permitted.
  • Persistent non-payment may result in legal recovery action, court proceedings, enforcement action, or other remedies available under applicable law.
  • Information about overdue repayments may be shared with relevant authorities, agencies, or benefit administrators where permitted or required by law.
  • Where a guarantor is attached to the loan, the guarantor may also be pursued for amounts due in accordance with the guarantee agreement.
  • Interest may be charged at the rate stated in the loan agreement or promissory note. Late or early repayments may alter the total interest payable.
  • You agree to provide accurate income, expenditure, and other relevant financial information when requested during the application or review process.
